I am driven by my passion for gender equality and my belief in the importance of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes. During my MSc program at LSE, I specialized in feminist theory focusing on the role a woman’s intersecting identities – including race, class, ethnicity, religion and sexual orientation – affect her experience of oppression. At Girl Up I had the privilege of working closely with girl leaders around the globe who lead their movement and epitomize the power of youth activism.
